This summary does not replace the full Terms & Conditions.
1. The Competition
The FYYBE Connections Competition (the "Competition") is a free prize promotion run by the Promoter through the FYYBE app.
The Competition rewards the entrants who make the most qualifying Connections during the Competition Period.
Three prizes are available: a laptop computer (first prize), a Garmin device (second prize) and a pair of wireless headphones (third prize).
By taking part, entrants agree to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Who can enter
Entry is open to individuals who are aged 18 or over and resident in the United Kingdom.
Entrants must hold a FYYBE account registered in their own name, with a valid mobile number and a completed profile.
The following are not eligible to enter:
- employees, officers, directors and contractors of the Promoter
- employees and contractors of any agency or supplier involved in running the Competition
- members of the immediate family or household of any of the above
No purchase is necessary. Entry is free and no payment, subscription or paid feature is required to take part or to win.
One entry per person. Each entrant may hold only one FYYBE account for the purposes of the Competition, and accounts must not be shared.
3. The Competition Period
The Competition opens at the following time:
7 October 2026
and closes at the following time (the "Closing Date"):
1 November 2026 at 00:00 (midnight)
Only Connections completed within the Competition Period count. Connections recorded after the Closing Date will not be counted, even if the invitation was sent before it.
Times are measured by the Promoter's systems and are the authoritative record of when a Connection completed.
The Promoter may extend or shorten the Competition Period where this is necessary for fairness, security or technical reasons. Where practicable, any change will be published on this page with an updated date.
4. What counts as a Connection
A "Connection" is an invitation sent from an entrant's own FYYBE account to a person who is not already a FYYBE user (the "Invited Person") where that Invited Person then:
- registers for FYYBE using that invitation,
- sets up their profile, and
- enters the FYYBE app.
All three steps must be completed. An invitation on its own does not count, and a person who downloads or joins FYYBE without using the entrant's invitation does not count towards the entrant's total.
Further conditions apply:
- each Invited Person can only be counted once, and only for the first entrant whose invitation they used
- a person who already had a FYYBE account (including a closed or dormant account) never counts as a Connection
- only genuine, unique individuals count; one account per person
- invitations must be personal and sent with the Invited Person's permission
The Promoter's records of qualifying Connections are the authoritative count and are used to decide the winners.
5. How to take part
To take part, an entrant must:
- hold a FYYBE account with a completed profile,
- send invitations to people who are not yet FYYBE users, using the invite feature in the app, and
- have those Invited People complete registration, profile setup and entry into the app.
Entrants must not create accounts on behalf of other people, use another person's details or contact information without their permission, or send invitations from anyone else's account.
The Promoter may ask an entrant to verify their identity, age, place of residence and how a Connection was made.
6. How the winners are chosen
After the Closing Date, the Promoter will review the verified qualifying Connections recorded for each entrant and select the winners as follows:
- first prize: the entrant with the highest number of verified qualifying Connections;
- second prize: the entrant with the next highest number;
- third prize: the entrant with the next highest number.
Each entrant can win only one prize. Where an entrant would qualify for more than one prize, they receive the highest prize they are entitled to, and the next eligible entrant receives the next prize.
7. Ties
If two or more entrants reach the same verified number of qualifying Connections, the tie is decided in favour of the entrant who reached that total first.
This is determined by the timestamp, recorded in the Promoter's systems, at which the entrant's verified qualifying Connection count reached the tied total.
If two or more tied entrants reached the total at the same recorded time, or the recorded time cannot be reliably determined, the Promoter will resolve the tie by a random draw, witnessed by an independent person.
These tie-break rules apply separately to determine first, second and third place.
8. The prizes
The prizes are:
- First prize: a laptop computer.
- Second prize: a Garmin device (a smartwatch or fitness tracker).
- Third prize: a pair of wireless headphones.
The exact make, model and specification of each prize will be selected by the Promoter and may differ from any illustration, description or example shown in the app or on social media. Any substitute prize will be of equivalent value and suitability.
Prizes are non-transferable, cannot be exchanged, and no cash alternative is offered, except where the Promoter reasonably determines that a prize has become unavailable, in which case a substitute of equal or greater value will be provided.
Prizes are supplied as described. Any manufacturer's warranty or support terms apply between the winner and the manufacturer, and the Promoter gives no warranty beyond its legal obligations.
Each winner is responsible for any tax or reporting obligation that applies to them in connection with their prize.
9. Winner notification and announcement
The Promoter will attempt to contact each winner using the in-app notification and the email address or mobile number registered to their FYYBE account, by 1 November 2026.
Winners must respond within 7 days, confirm they accept the prize, provide a delivery address in the United Kingdom and, if asked, provide proof of identity, age and residence.
If a winner does not respond within that period, cannot be contacted using the details on their account, is not eligible, or is unable or unwilling to accept the prize, the Promoter may treat the prize as forfeited and offer it to the next eligible entrant with the next highest verified number of qualifying Connections, applying the tie-break rules in section 7.
Winners' first name, town or city, and their verified number of qualifying Connections may be published on FYYBE's Instagram and TikTok channels and in-app, and the Promoter may ask winners to take part in reasonable promotional activity. Taking part in publicity is not a condition of receiving a prize, and winners may decline.
10. Prize delivery
Each prize will be delivered to the address confirmed by the winner within 28 days of the winner confirming acceptance and providing a valid United Kingdom delivery address.
Risk in the prize passes to the winner on delivery. Winners are responsible for providing an accurate address and for being available to receive delivery. If delivery fails because of information or availability issues attributable to the winner, the Promoter may treat the prize as forfeited after making reasonable attempts to arrange delivery.
11. Verification and disqualification
The Promoter may require an entrant to provide reasonable evidence of their identity, age, residence, account ownership and how their Connections were made.
A Connection will not count, and an entrant may be disqualified, where the Promoter reasonably considers that:
- invitations were sent to people who had not given their permission to be contacted
- invitations were sent in bulk, by automated means, or in a way that breaches the rules of the platform used to send them
- accounts were created by or for another person, or using false, shared, purchased or temporary details (including temporary or disposable phone numbers)
- invitations were sent to the entrant's own additional accounts or numbers
- invitations were sent to the Promoter's staff or to anyone involved in administering the Competition
- the app or the invite process was manipulated, or a result was otherwise interfered with
- the entrant has breached these Terms & Conditions or the terms applicable to the FYYBE app
The Promoter will base these decisions on its records and on the information reasonably available to it.
12. Fair play and responsible inviting
Invitations must be personal and sent to people the entrant knows. Entrants must not spam, mass-message or send unsolicited invitations.
Entrants are responsible for their own invitations and for complying with applicable law — including data protection and electronic marketing rules — and with the terms of any platform they use to contact the Invited Person.
The Promoter may suspend or restrict an account's ability to send invitations where it reasonably suspects abuse, and may disqualify the entrant from the Competition in those circumstances.
13. Data protection and privacy
Personal information provided in connection with the Competition will be processed in accordance with the FYYBE Privacy Policy.
The Promoter processes entrant data to run and administer the Competition. This may include:
- name, account details, email address and mobile number
- Connection records, including the fact that an Invited Person used an entrant's invitation and whether that person completed signup and entered the app
- verified results, winner status and prize delivery details
- technical and security logs needed to detect abuse
This information is used to administer the Competition, verify results and Connections, prevent fraud and abuse, contact and announce winners, deliver prizes, and keep records for audit purposes. It is processed on the basis of the entrant's agreement to these Terms & Conditions, the Promoter's legitimate interests in running a fair promotion, and, for winners, to provide the prize.
Competition records are retained for up to 12 months after the Closing Date to verify results and deal with queries, and are then deleted or anonymised, unless a longer period is required by law.
Where an Invited Person registers for FYYBE, the Promoter is responsible for their personal data from that point and processes it in line with the Privacy Policy. Entrants should share only the minimum information needed to invite someone, and only with that person's permission.
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or object to certain processing, by contacting hello@fyybe.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). Taking part is not conditional on receiving marketing communications.
14. Changes, suspension or cancellation
The Promoter may amend these Terms & Conditions, or suspend, extend or cancel the Competition, where circumstances outside its reasonable control make this necessary, including technical or security failures, fraud or abuse, or legal and regulatory requirements.
Where a material change is made, the Promoter will publish the updated Terms & Conditions on this page with a revised "last updated" date and, where practicable, communicate the change in the app.
The Promoter will not amend the Competition mechanics or prizes simply to favour a particular entrant or to avoid a particular outcome.
15. Availability and technical problems
The Competition depends on the FYYBE app and the devices, networks and platforms used by entrants and Invited People. The Promoter is not responsible for:
- an entrant's device, network or connectivity issues
- app downtime, maintenance or faults
- invitations that are not delivered, read or acted upon
- an Invited Person not completing registration, profile setup or entry into the app
- delays or failures outside the Promoter's reasonable control
Where a technical failure means Connections are not properly recorded, the Promoter will make reasonable efforts to verify the position and may extend the Competition Period where this is fair to entrants.
16. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes the Promoter's liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law. Entrants' statutory rights as consumers are not affected.
Subject to the above, the Promoter is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, opportunity or goodwill, or for losses arising from taking part in the Competition. The Promoter's total liability in connection with the Competition is limited to the value of the prize the relevant entrant would otherwise have received.
17. Decisions and complaints
The Promoter's decisions on eligibility, verification of Connections, ties, disqualification and prize entitlement are final, and will be made reasonably and on the basis of its records.
If you have a question or complaint about the Competition, contact hello@fyybe.com. Please do so within 14 days of the Closing Date, or within 14 days of being notified if you are a winner. The Promoter will consider and respond to complaints within a reasonable time.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights or your right to raise a concern with a relevant regulator or authority.
18. Third-party disclaimer
This Competition is run solely by the Promoter. It is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Apple, Google, Garmin, Meta, TikTok or any other third party.
Any product names or brands mentioned are the trade marks of their respective owners and are used only to describe the prizes.
